Physical appearance
Golden blonde hair, womanly figure, big hazel eyes and full lips. Hannah's style is effortless chic. Because of the war she was never able to fully explore the creativity that grew out of her time at Beauxbatons.
Background
As an only child, Hannah was a little spoilt, but because many of her formative years were spent in Hogwarts, she learned the important lessons in life from the danger and looming darkness that surrounded her education. Managing to overcome her anxiety, Hannah even became a prefect, and took an active role in Dumbledore's Army. She learnt that in this time, personal happiness had to come second to safety and preparation. She never let the knowledge that her generation would be the one to face down the Dark Lord bother her, rather she channelled her fury into action.
This tremendous force of will fell apart with the unexpected murder of her mother by death eaters. Hannah was very upset, but wanted to remain in school so she could take an active role in the war. However, her father insisted on withdrawing her from Hogwarts for safety reasons, and as a minor Hannah had no choice but to obey.
For a year, Hannah was kept mostly at home. For the first few months she tolerated it, but after that it began to wear on her nerves. It was a few weeks before her 17th birthday that she finally boiled over, telling her father that she felt spoilt and useless, and that she wanted to return to school so she could fight in the war. He wasn't happy with her, and most of the night was spent in a battle of wills, of which Hannah was the victor - if only because of her stubborness. There was one small condition of Hannah's return to school; she could not go to Hogwarts.
Within the week, Hannah was enrolled in Beauxbatons. Because she had left Hogwarts mid-year, she was enrolled in her 6th year, making her one of the oldest. She applied herself to learning french, using magic at first to assist with her lessons until she was fluent. In a way, the enormous amount of work she had to do distracted her from the bigger picture.
While keeping one eye on the prophet to monitor the deteriorating situation at home, Hannah also began to draw. She had an interest in clothes, but also sketched some of her classmates, sparking some of her first crushes. This was a relaxing past time for the two years she spent at Beauxbatons. She graduated from the school when she was 18 going on 19.
After she left school, Hannah lived in Paris until her 21st birthday, translating documents for the French Ministry. During that period she continued to draw and also learned to ballroom dance a bit, dating an older muggle man she met there for a while. She then moved to a similar job in the UK Ministry, but thankfully it wasn't long before she was called to step out from behind her desk and fight in the war. It had long been a desire of hers to avenge her mother's death. Her ability with charms proved a great asset. She also joined the Order of the Phoenix, but she feels frustrated and trapped, only leaving Grimmauld Place when a mission calls for it. Hannah longs for the war to be over and to see the streets of her beloved Paris again.
Currently Hannah lives at 12 Grimmauld Place in London.
Personality
Hannah is determined and stubborn, even under stress. Growing up in the lead-up to the third war gave her a steely strength and desire to do right. She has a sweet side that likes to send owls with sweet goodies (always bought - she's not much of a cook) but her moods can change quickly and no one would want to be on her wrong side. One of her other main features is her adaptability. As much as she loves luxury, she's had it in excess and thus knows what a burden it can be. She adapted to the frugalities of the war long ago and doesn't miss anything really except for fresh air. Hannah can get worked up over little things, usually because something deeper is bothering her. She is good at channelling her pain or anger into determination.
